2016 Chrysler 200 S Top Speed

just tried to top out my 2015 200s awd v6, got to 119, not sure if it had more or if it is limited to that speed, I remember my 2012 200s v6 was limited to about 112. Let me know what you guys got your car to do. Be Safe!

Could be, the last gen 200s and Avengers were limited to 118mph too.

I'd assume they are, kinda sucks I know the car has more too...last gen was because the LS2's were only rated to that speed, not sure about the Nexens

I still wish they hadn't put those tires on the car, just switched over to new tires on my '12 Touring V-6 that are 235's and Z-Rated and the difference has been HUGE just in the last 36 hours and I haven't even exceded 70mph yet!

My 200S AWD topped @ 119MPH which is also near the top of 5 gear, I think was more focused on the road.

These numbers are disappointing, I consistently drove 150mph+ in my last vehicle. I guess if I put a few thousand into making this go fast like I did the last one it will do it too.

Yeah, there were one of two Avenger owners who unlocked their cars over on AvengerForumz that tested that out and were able to get over 150mph...........one of them was crazy enough to do so on his factory LS2's

Never had mine past 90...I guess I've gotten a bit chicken in my old age, and the state of VA has an automatic reckless driving charge if you exceed 80 mph for any reason...SO
But, I am extremely impressed with how rapidly it gets up to those speeds! The Thrush mufflers along with the K&N Typhoon intake make some amazing music above 5k rpm.
Last summer, I drove out to Watkins Glen and did the Thunder Road Laps. Three laps of pure fantastic fun! Best $25 ever!
They may tell you to stay under 60mph, but keep up with the pace vehicle if you can...you wont be doing 60 I guarantee. The straights arent really long enough for high top speeds before you have to brake, but the auto-stick was an absolute joy.
If youre in the area or going by there, by all means stop in!
My wife blurted out some amazing and hilarious expletives, but survived with newfound appreciation for me and my cars.

My 13' is limited to 145 since the tires are safe to 149... Speedometer only goes to 120...

This is true, I have topped out on my car at 120mph. It does feel the car can go faster, but once at 120, it couldn't go any faster. It felt like it was holding itself back from going any further.

It defiantly does seem to be electronically limited as I only got mine to 115 mph on the HWY and then it seemed to hold itself back. I had an Audi Q5 SUV zoom past me at that speed. But I can say that at 115 MPH it still was very smooth.

I switched the Nexons to goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric all season. Huge difference in the handling, especially in the rain.

I was able to get the car up to 120 mph and I stopped but it wasn't cutting out or anything so I know it definitely goes 120 and that was tracked with my Garmin Zumo 660lm GPS. Digital dash said 120 as did GPS. That was fast enough for me as I need my Commercial drivers license.....
